Meet the 2018–2019 FEEST youth leaders! This year’s cohort is our biggest yet, with 22 youth from 4 high schools — Chief Sealth, Evergreen, Rainier Beach, and Tyee. We kicked off the program year with a DOPE summer camp. Two weeks of learning, sharing, and exploring knowledge about social justice, youth organizing, community health, and our cultural histories. Students got to flex their facilitation skills, learn about food justice and campaign organizing, and have fun getting to know each other.

With these fresh skills, youth leaders also began visioning their goals for the school year and how they can organize around health issues affecting their schools and communities. We’re excited to see what these amazing youth accomplish this year and can’t wait for you to meet them at our Fresh Flavor Cocktail Party!
