“I am thankful for welcoming people and community.”
I’ve been to YOUNGSTOWN before, but only for shows and events, little did I know that this small building is the home of multiple non profit organizations. I went into FEEST, thinking I’d just be getting free food. But I got to meet a lot of down to earth welcoming people. I was shy, but it didn’t take long for me to start having conversations with the common people. I loved meeting the new people, and getting schooled on how everything YOUNGSTOWN has to offer. I appreciated all the welcoming arms and people. They acted as a family, and I mostly appreciated the willingness to get to know me. I hope to come back to meet new people, and especially meet new people like me to welcome them with opening arms.
